The challenge

Apparently, the travel business has lost its allure. Platforms like AirBNB have deeply disrupted the industry. What is left, appears to be economically driven and rationally expressed. In this context, the lowest price always wins.

Flight Centre™  didn’t want to compete directly on price. Instead, decided to transform the services provided via roundtheworldexperts.co.uk

Research and ideation

For this project, Foolproof provided a valuable set of research data. From context to competition, to customer profiles. The next step was to find a way to solve the deficit of content and lack of inspirational material.
Enter the content team. Through several workshops a new strategy to create and distribute inspiring content was created.

As soon as the content strategy was in place, it was time to design the content placeholders and accommodate the user journeys.

Everything was designed in responsive components and modules. The prototype was was ready to be tested.


One moment of truth

The moment of truth. We found the potential customers in airport lounges around London.
A cup of coffee, 20 minutes of prototype testing and a little conversation would get us valuable feedback. After analysis, our hypothesis was confirmed. The customers were missing the inspirational material, we were going in the right direction.
After a few more conversations with the sales agents, additional facts were uncovered, something we couldn’t have possibly found in any analytics reports or A/B test results.

It is not about money.

The brand is set to evolve and adapt to the market and the new website transformed into a great tool for the owners.
